Looking to elevate your steak game? These Steak Medallions with Garlic Butter Sauce are the perfect quick, gourmet-worthy main dish to impress at any dinner. Inspired by my childhood in New England, where steak tips are a staple, I decided to dress them up with a rich garlic butter sauce that adds depth and sophistication. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply craving a juicy, tender steak, this recipe is a winner.
This dish serves about 3-4 hungry diners, or perfect leftovers for the next day’s lunch. Ready to turn simple steak into a show-stopping meal? Let’s get started!
Ingredients (for 3-4 servings):
- 1.5 pounds of quality steak (NY strip, ribeye, or tenderloin) cut into 1-2 inch cubes — make sure all pieces are close in size for even cooking
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
How to Make It:
Heat a grill over medium-high heat.
In a large sauce pan, add the butter and garlic and cook over low heat until the butter is melted and the garlic is fragrant.
Toss the beef medallions in oil, salt, and pepper. Put the medallions on the grill and cook for about 2 minutes per side for medium.
Remove from the grill and toss in the butter and garlic sauce, and serve.
Why You’ll Love This Dish:
- Juicy, tender steak medallions coated with a luscious garlic butter sauce
- Quick to prepare with simple ingredients, perfect for weeknights or special occasions
- Rich, savory flavor with a hint of umami from Worcestershire sauc
Perfect Pairings:
